Sarnia police map of area where shelter in place ordered following gas leak. Submitted.Sarnia police lifted a shelter in place notice for residents in the area of Rowella's Way and Errol Road East at around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
The notice was initially issued at around 2 p.m., as a result of a natural gas leak.
Police said it was caused by construction in the area but, thanks to Sarnia Fire and Enbridge Gas workers, the gas line was shut off.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
