UPDATE: Roads open after gas leak prompts shelter in place

Sarnia police lifted a shelter in place notice for residents in the area of Rowella's Way and Errol Road East at around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

The notice was initially issued at around 2 p.m., as a result of a natural gas leak.

Police said it was caused by construction in the area but, thanks to Sarnia Fire and Enbridge Gas workers, the gas line was shut off.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
