Online forum talks about gender, sexuality and faith

An online forum that begins Tuesday aims to create a conversation about the intersection of gender, sexuality and faith.

Organizer and Founder of Diversity ED Crystal Fach said this is a crucial conversation.

"There is a misconception that people need to choose between their gender identity and/or sexual orientation and their faith, but they don't," said Fach. "We can hold all of these identities in who we are."

The Gender, Sexuality and Faith Forum hosted by Diversity Ed, Dunlop United Church and Grace United Church, will also discuss timely topics, including Bill C-6.

United Church of Canada minister and former Ontario MPP Cheri DiNovo is the keynote speaker.

The free virtual event is being held today from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday.

You can register online at Eventbrite.ca
