OPP arrest driver of stolen ATV in Corunna

Lambton OPP have arrested the driver of a stolen all terrain vehicle [ATV] in Corunna.

Officers observed an ATV, without a licence plate, being operated on Cameron Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

When they stopped the driver, and realized he was wanted on outstanding warrants, he was arrested.

Further investigation revealed the ATV had been reported stolen from Cobourg, Ontario.

A 44-year-old St. Clair Township man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of methamphetamine and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

The accused was released and is set to appear in Sarnia court August 16.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
