New COVID cases remain in single-digits

Sarnia-Lambton's health unit reported three new cases of COVID-19 Sunday morning.

Lambton Public Health has reported 3,558 confirmed cases during the pandemic, including 62 deaths and 3,475 resolved cases.

Over the past four weeks, new daily infections have been in double-digits just once.

The number of active cases is at 21, unchanged over the past 24 hours, and active outbreaks remain at one.

Bluewater Health has seven COVID-positive patients in hospital, up one from Saturday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
