Sting to face Windsor in 2021-22 home opener

The Sarnia Sting will play their home opener on Friday, October 8 against the Windsor Spitfires at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

The Ontario Hockey League announced the dates of the home openers for each club on Monday.

The Sting and Spitfires will also square off in Windsor's home opener at the WFCU Centre on Thursday, October 7.

Players are expected to report for training camp on September 4.

The league unveiled the entire 2021-22 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
