Here’s what’s open and closed on Canada Day Thursday July 1, 2021:

-Post Office: Closed, No Mail Delivery

-Sarnia Transit:- No bus service

-Banks & Trust Companies:- Closed Thursday

-Beer and LCBO stores:- Closed Thursday, except Confederation Street Beer Store, open reduced hours.

-Cannabis stores:- Most open with reduced hours

-Stores:- Most closed Thursday including Lambton Mall

-Government offices (Muni. Prov. Fed.):- Closed Thursday

-Garbage collection:- Normal (Sarnia)

-Schools:- closed (Summer/COVID)

-Blackburn Radio Sarnia Offices:- Closed

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
