Sarnia man dies in Devine Street crash

Sarnia police are investigating a fatal crash that happened just after 10 p.m. Monday.

Police said a minivan struck a tree in the 900 block of Devine Street. The driver and lone occupant, a 37-year-old Sarnia man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Devine Street remained closed to traffic Tuesday morning between Bennett Street and Borden Street.

Officers with the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Division and Criminal Investigations Branch are investigating.
