Threatening storm clouds approach Sarnia July 20, 2019 (BlackburnNews.com photo by Sue Storr)Environment Canada issued weather alerts for the possibility of severe thunderstorms in Sarnia-Lambton on Tuesday afternoon.
The national weather agency issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the area at around 12:30 p.m. Just after 6:15 p.m., the watch was upgraded to a warning for Watford, Pinery Park and Eastern Lambton County.
By 8 p.m., all warnings were downgraded back to watches.
Approximately two hours later, all watches and warnings were lifted.
