Confederation Street construction site hit by thieves

Sarnia police are investigating the theft of power tools from a construction site.

Police were called to a gated area on Confederation Street near Indian Road Saturday, July 31 following a break and enter.

Police said an electric-pneumatic jackhammer and a lightweight concrete saw were stolen. It's believed the theft took place sometime between 9 p.m. July 30 and 5 a.m. July 31.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
