OPP take alleged stunt driver off the road

A 39-year-old Wheatley man has been charged with stunt driving after getting pulled over by Lambton County OPP.

Provincial police said a vehicle travelling 99 kilometres per hour in a 50 km/hr zone was stopped on Lakeshore Road, near Camlachie Thursday afternoon.

As a result, the driver had their licence suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
