OPP seize drugs, stolen vehicle in Dawn-Euphemia

A 30-year-old Dawn-Euphemia man is facing charges after Lambton OPP responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence in the 8000 block of Fansher Road.

Officers were called to the scene at around 6:40 p.m. Sunday.

It's alleged the suspect had arrived in a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the London area.

He was arrested, and police found suspected methamphetamine during a search.

The accused is charged with possession of a schedule one substance, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and failure to comply with a probation order.

He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
