The Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department responded to a fire at an outbuilding Monday night.
Crews were able to extinguish the small fire quickly and no injuries were reported.
It's believed the blaze was intentionally set and Lambton OPP is investigating.
A damage estimate was not immediately available.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
