UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm watch ended

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for Sarnia-Lambton.

Hydro One crews were dealing with scattered outages in the Lambton Shores area Thursday morning and on Wednesday, Bluewater Power was kept busy with outages and downed power lines and trees in storm activity.

A heat warning is still in effect.

The national weather agency said daytime temperatures Thursday will reach the low 30s once again with humidex values near 40 degrees Celsius.

Cooler and less humid air is expected to move into the region Friday night.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
