COVID caseload up two

Lambton Public Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 Friday.

In its daily update, the health unit reported the total caseload since the start of the pandemic has reached 3,664, up two from Thursday.

There was no change to the death toll, which stands at 68, and the number of resolved cases is unchanged at 3,577, increasing the number of active infections by two to 19.

Bluewater Health had no COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
