Early Monday evening, investigators put a call out to the public asking for help in identifying a suspect at a gas pump in Sarnia.
Police have not provided any other details about the investigation but said it can now continue thanks to the help from the public and Crime Stoppers.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
