Burkhart named Sarnia city clerk

After being the acting clerk since 2020, the City of Sarnia has promoted Amy Burkhart to the role full time.

Sarnia CAO Chris Carter said Burkhart's twelve years of experience working for the municipality has provided the foundation and opportunity for this natural progression in her career.

"Amy has built positive, respectful working relationships with Mayor Mike Bradley and Sarnia City Council," said Carter. "She is a welcome contributing member of our senior management team."

Burkhart is a Sarnia native and graduate of Lambton College and the University of Windsor.

She holds a Business Administration Diploma and Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
