Active COVID cases up to 10 in SL

Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Sarnia-Lambton Sunday morning, along with two more recoveries.

Lambton Public Health has now reported 3,969 confirmed cases, 3,617 resolved, and 69 COVID-related deaths over the course of the pandemic.

Active infections are at 10, up one over the past 24 hours.  Active outbreaks have been at zero since July 12.

As of September 3, Bluewater Health was reporting no COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Ontario reported 811 new cases and three COVID-related deaths Sunday.  There were 944 new cases reported Saturday, the province's highest daily count since May 30.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
