MDOT lowers tolls at Blue Water Bridge

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) says toll rates for those entering Canada at the Blue Water Bridge will drop next month.

On October 1, passenger vehicle tolls will go down to $3.75 (CAD) from $4 (CAD) per trip, extra axles will decrease to $3.75 (CAD), and trucks and buses per axle will go down to $4 (CAD) from $4.25 (CAD).

The Federal Bridge Corporation Ltd. (FBCL) reviews its rates semi-annually, with the next review scheduled for October 1.

Non-essential travel restrictions are still in effect for Canadians entering the U.S.

Canada reopened its border to fully-vaccinated American citizens and permanent residents for non-essential purposes last month.
