OPP investigate fatal morning crash

One person was killed in a crash Friday morning in Dawn-Euphemia Township.

Lambton OPP along with Lambton EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Marthaville Road and Aberfeldy Line just after 8 a.m.

Police said one person was pronounced deceased and two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No names have been released pending the notification of next-of-kin.

The OPP's Technical Collision Investigation Unit also responded.

Marthaville Road was closed between Oil Springs Line and Edy's Mills Line and Aberfeldy Line was closed between Robinson Road and Tramway Road.

The roadways reopened at around 3 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
