Temporary closure on Howard Watson Nature Trail

A section of the Howard Watson Nature Trail is closed temporarily starting Monday, September 13.

Sarnia's Engineering and Operations General Manager David Jackson said it will be closed between Exmouth Street and Retford Avenue for the continuation of the sanitary force main project for approximately six weeks.

Jackson said fencing has been erected around the excavation site to keep the public safe and signs have been posted indicating the closure.

The first phase of the project, expected to take one year to complete, includes watermain and sanitary force main extensions and pumping station modifications.
