Urn found outside Sarnia business

Sarnia police are hoping to return an urn containing ashes to its rightful owner.

Police were called to a business in the 1000 block of Confederation Street Saturday about an item that had been found outside.

Police said after speaking with a local funeral home, it was determined the item is an urn.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
