Novice driver charged with stunt driving

A Wyoming teen is without their licence for the next month after a traffic stop in Petrolia Tuesday.

Lambton OPP were called about erratic drivers in the area of Dufferin Avenue near Queen Street just before 2:30 p.m.

Responding officers stopped a vehicle and charged the 17-year-old driver with stunt driving.

Their licence has been suspended for 30 days and the vehicle has been impounded for two weeks.

OPP say if you suspect a driver might be impaired or who spot an erratic vehicle, call police at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on your cell phone.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
