Alton Farms hosts annual 'Grape Stomp'

Local residents are invited to get their feet dirty this weekend.

Alton Farms Estate Winery is hosting its sixth annual 'Grape Stomp' on Saturday, September 25.

The family-friendly event begins at 12 p.m. at the winery on Aberarder Line, with competitive timed stomps for adults and children.

There's a stomping fee of $10 per person with proceeds going to the Bluewater Centre for Raptor Rehabilitation.

Local artisans will also be on-site along with live entertainment.

COVID-19 protocols will be enforced.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
