Craig-Chad was reported missing after the teen had not been heard from since Monday afternoon.
Police said the 16-year-old was found safe on Tuesday.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
