Grand Bend confrontation leads to charges

A 31-year-old from Hensall faces assault and break and enter charges following an alleged confrontation in Grand Bend.

Lambton OPP and EMS were contacted after an incident took place at a residence on Main Street, Monday, October 4, at 2:15 a.m.

Officers were told an individual had forcibly entered a residence and assaulted two individuals after a verbal confrontation.

The victims sustained minor injuries and the accused was located and taken into custody without incident.

Rohit Aggarwal was charged with break and enter at a house to commit an indictable offence, assault, and assault with a weapon.

Aggarwal was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court January 24.
