Shell and NOVA report incidents

Late Saturday morning Shell officials reported a spill of jet fuel.

The spill has since been completely contained and the incident did not result in any impact to the environment.

The Spills Action Centre was notified.

NOVA Chemicals is apologizing to its neighbours for excessive noise emanating from its Moore site.

The cause is being blamed on a boiler shutdown Saturday night.

The company said in a statement that the increased noise is the only impact of the shutdown.
