Sarnia police say a break and enter suspect was caught in the act in broad daylight Saturday.
At around 2:30 p.m., police were called to a residence being renovated in the 300 block of London Road.
The caller told police he went to the home and found the suspect dressed in black and in possession of a tool bag. He later noticed that copper wiring had been cut and there was no power to the building.
Just before 3 p.m., officers found the suspect, who was still carrying the tool bag.
He was arrested without incident, and police allegedly seized a small amount of methamphetamine.
Rheal Charles Galipeau, 32, of Sarnia is charged with break and enter, mischief over $5,000, possession of methamphetamine, and failing to comply with an undertaking.
The accused's first court appearance is set for December 8, at the Sarnia Courthouse.
