Stunt driver clocked at 107 km/h on Indian Road

A stunt driving charge has been laid against a 19-year-old from Sarnia who was clocked at 107 kilometres per hour in a 50 km/h zone on Indian Road.

Just after noon on Wednesday, Sarnia police were conducting enforcement near Errol Road and spotted a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed, northbound on Indian.

The driver was stopped without incident.

Their licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle will be impounded for 14 days. The driver will also have to attend court to answer to the charge.

Police are reminding the public that traveling this quickly increases the risk of a crash and the amount of injury and damage that can result.
