Motorcycle reported stolen in Grand Bend

Provincial police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle in Grand Bend.

Lambton OPP said a red Honda Grom motorcycle was reported stolen on Ontario Street South at 6:45 p.m. on October 26.

Police were told a "heavier-set male" loaded a small motorcycle into the bed of a two-toned silver or grey Toyota Tacoma and closed the tonneau cover. The pickup truck then went north on Ontario Street.

Officers said the man wore a dark coloured hoodie and surgical mask.

It's believed a person spoke with the man while he was loading the motorcycle into the pickup truck. However, it's not believed the individual, who wore a green shirt and red baseball hat, assisted in the theft.

OPP are looking to identify either of the individuals.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on a mobile phone. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or sarnialambtoncrimestoppers.org.
