Sting deal overage defenceman to Storm

The Sarnia Sting have traded overage defenceman Cameron Supryka to the Guelph Storm for a ninth round pick in the 2024 OHL Draft.

Through 12 games played with the Sting, the 20-year-old Belleville native has tallied a goal and four assists.

Sting General Manager Dylan Seca wished Supryka all of the best moving forward.

"Cameron is an outstanding person with elite character. He played a huge role through the pause, his support for his teammates and the entire organization was impressive. With the return of an OA forward last week [Nolan Degurse] we wanted to provide Cameron with the opportunity to play more."

The Sting return to the ice on Tuesday night, at home to the London Knights at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

You can hear all of the action live on CHOK with Leigh Cunningham and Patrick DesRochers.
