Sting fan recovering in hospital

A young boy who was injured at the Sarnia Sting game against Windsor Friday night is on the mend.

According to the Point Edward Minor Athletic Association, Teddy LeDrew was hit in the head by a puck while watching the game at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Sarnia News Today confirmed that LeDrew was listed in good condition at a hospital in London Monday morning.

LeDrew received an outpouring of well wishes on social media over the weekend.

In a post on Facebook, the Sarnia Sting rallied positive thoughts for LeDrew.

The Point Edward Minor Athletic Association also passed along well wishes for LeDrew's recovery.

The Sting lost to Windsor 7-3 Friday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
