Pedestrian involved in Rosedale Ave. crash dies

Sarnia police say a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the city's north end earlier this month has since died.

Officers responded to the area of Rosedale Avenue and Kenwood Avenue at around 7:35 p.m. November 2.

A 28-year-old male was transported to hospital in critical condition.

Police said an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Branch and the Traffic Unit has determined no charges will be laid against the driver of the vehicle involved.

Police are thanking the public for its help and co-operation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
