Sting's Gaudreau blanks Attack in first OHL shutout

Goalie Ben Gaudreau made 26 saves for his first Ontario Hockey League shutout Sunday, as the Sarnia Sting beat Owen Sound 4-0.

Nolan DeGurse scored the first goal of the game 43 seconds into the second period.

DeGurse said they've been working on their power play, and it paid off.

"It starts in practice," he said. "In practice throughout the week we worked on it a lot and then through the penalty kill, we've done a lot of video looking over the other teams power play and trying to really follow the system and sticking to it. It's working so far and we're going to look to keep doing that going forward."
