Driver taken to hospital in transport crash

One person was taken to hospital in a crash Tuesday evening.

Two transport trucks collided on the westbound Highway 402 near Indian Road shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Lambton OPP, Sarnia Fire and Rescue and Lambton EMS responded. Police said no serious injuries were reported.

The highway was down to one lane for about three hours, and fully reopened to traffic at around 9:30p.m.

One driver, a 60-year-old from Richmond Hill, was charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
