Camlachie Library reopens to patrons

The Camlachie Library will reopen on Thursday after being closed for over a month.

The facility closed on October 25, to accommodate for accessibility upgrades in the parking lot.

The building is home to the Camlachie Library and Plympton-Wyoming Museum.

As of Thursday, the library will reopen for scheduled appointments and in-person browsing, as well as curbside pickup. The drop box will also be available for patrons to return borrowed items.

The Camlachie Library will be open Mondays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
