Emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle collision on Lakeshore Road between Modeland Road and Blackwell Side Road sometime before 8 p.m.
A short time later, police announced the roadway would be closed for several hours while they investigate before crews can clear the scene.

People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
