Local winning ticket in LOTTO 6/49 draw

If you haven't checked your tickets yet after Saturday's LOTTO 6/49 draw, you may find a nice windfall right before the holidays.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said a second prize worth $207,248.90 was won with a ticket sold in Lambton County.

The $8.8 million jackpot ticket was sold in Mississauga and a guaranteed $1 million prize was won in the Niagara Region.

The OLG reminds players they can check their tickets from home on OLG.ca or by using the OLG App.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
