COVID cases up 15 in SL

Lambton Public Health reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday morning, along with 12 resolved cases.

Active infections are at 74, up three from Saturday, and active outbreaks are unchanged at five.

There have been a total of 4,500 confirmed cases during the pandemic, including 4,348 resolved cases and 78 COVID-related deaths.

The health unit has reported a total of 128 confirmed cases this month, around 10.5 cases per day.

On Friday, Bluewater Health reported five COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
