No charges laid in Bright's Grove collision

Charges have not been laid following a collision at Lakeshore Road and Brigden Road that resulted in damage to a hydrant.

The City of Sarnia notified Bright's Grove residents of the collision Wednesday afternoon as some may have experienced low or no water pressure as a result of the collision.

Sarnia police said officers were called to the scene at 11:40 a.m.

A driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said no charges were laid as the collision was related to a medical issue.

A section of Lakeshore Road was closed to traffic for several hours for watermain repairs.

The city announced Thursday morning that repairs were completed and Lakeshore Road from Brigden Road to Telfer Road was reopened.
