Impaired charge laid in single vehicle crash

Lambton OPP have charged a 27-year-old from Plympton-Wyoming with impaired driving following a crash in Lambton Shores Tuesday.

Police were called to a single vehicle crash on Lakeshore Road near Rawlings Road just before midnight.

When officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, police said it became apparent the individual was displaying signs of impairment.

The driver was taken to a Lambton OPP detachment where they provided two samples of breath above the legal limit.

The accused was charged and has been released with a date to appear in Sarnia court February 21.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
