Final suspect apprehended following early January robbery

A 36-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at the beginning of this month has been arrested.

Sarnia police say Joshua Allen Spero was taken into custody Wednesday without incident and was being held for a bail hearing.

Spero was wanted on an outstanding warrant for the charge of forcible confinement and one count of robbery with violence in relation to an incident that occurred in the 700 block of Roger Street January 6.

A victim was allegedly confronted by four individuals, forced into a basement, threatened with a gun and then robbed.

Three people were previously arrested and charged.
