Police investigating theft of metal pipe-fitting equipment

Sarnia police are investigating the theft of various pieces of metal pipe-fitting equipment used on pressurized and non-pressurized valves.

Police said a male and a female stole the products from an address on Churchill Line on January 15 at around 11 a.m.

It's believed that attempts will be made to sell the pieces for scrap metal.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
