Collision in Plympton-Wyoming sends one to hospital

Lambton OPP is investigating a single-vehicle collision in Plympton-Wyoming that sent one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Cst. Jamie Bydeley said the collision took place Thursday night, around 7:30 p.m., on Oil Heritage Road between Douglas Line and Aberarder Line. Members of Lambton OPP, Lambton EMS, and Camlachie Fire Department attended the scene.

The driver, a 53-year-old Lambton Shores woman, was the lone occupant inside the vehicle.

No charges have been laid, as of Friday afternoon, as the investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
