Pt. Edward snow creation challenge underway

Businesses and residents in the Village of Point Edward will have all weekend to work on their snow creations.

The village's first annual snow creation challenge officially started Thursday afternoon after a significant amount of snow fell across the region on Wednesday.

The challenge previously said participants would have 48 hours to complete their snow creation, however, an updated post now specifies that participants will have until Monday at 7 a.m.

Participants must register by emailing sarcher@villageofpointedward.com or cvosburg@villageofpointedward.com. Registration can also be done over the phone by calling (519) 337-3021. Entries will be accepted up until Monday morning.

Judges will score snow creations based on creativity, execution, and visual impact.

Prizes ranging from a $50 gift certificate and a $150 gift certificate will be up for grabs.

Challenge rules can be found below.
