No arrests made during 402 demonstration

Lambton OPP continued to monitor a demonstration along westbound Highway 402 Monday, that has detoured traffic off the highway since last Wednesday.

Only a handful of farm vehicles remained parked on the highway just east of Forest Road.

In an email to Sarnia News Today, OPP West Regional Media Relations Coordinator Derek Rogers said officers continue to monitor the demonstration and at this time, no arrests have been made.

Traffic was being detoured onto Egremont Road at Nauvoo Road in Warwick.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
