Thousands of dollars worth of tools stolen from Sarnia business

Sarnia police are investigating a break and enter where thousands of dollars worth of tools were stolen.

Officers were called to a business in the 2300 block of Confederation Line Sunday and were told that a door to one of the buildings had been forced open between 5:30 p.m. February 12 and 10 a.m. February 13.

Three large red, white and blue tool boxes, filled with thousands of dollars worth of tools, were removed.

Police said it appears they were placed in the back of a black, 2015 Ford F250 pickup truck with Ontario licence plate number 7551FT. The truck had a red snow plow attached to the front.

A 14-foot car trailer with spring loaded ramps, with licence plate number K3669C, was also reported stolen.

Sarnia police would like to speak with anyone who has information about this crime, or the location of the stolen items.
