Strong winds forecast Saturday

A special weather statement has been issued for Sarnia-Lambton.

Environment Canada said an Alberta Clipper will bring strong northwesterly winds into the region on Saturday.

Winds gusting between 70 kilometres per hour and 80 km/h are expected during the day, before gradually weakening Saturday afternoon or evening.

There's the potential for areas of reduced visibility in blowing snow.

The national weather agency said loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
