Significant rainfall was expected Monday night through Tuesday night. The weather statement ended Tuesday morning.
The national weather service said total rainfall amounts of 15-25 millimetres, or up to an inch of rain was possible.
Combined with melting snow there could be widespread flooding and ponding throughout the region.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
