LPH reports 16 new COVID cases

Lambton Public Health reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

The health unit said there has been an average of 25 new infections in Sarnia-Lambton over the last week.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, there have been 9,680 lab confirmed cases of the virus and 126 related deaths.

There are nine COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health, up two from Tuesday. None of them are in the ICU.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
