Time is running out to buy BWHF Dream Home Lottery tickets

There are just under two weeks left to purchase tickets for the Bluewater Health Foundation's 27th annual Dream Home Lottery.

The fully-furnished home, located at 620 Mead Court in Sarnia, is valued at just over $933,000. The winner also has the option to take home $800,000 in cash.

Foundation Executive Director Kathy Alexander said they've already sold around 75,000 tickets, helped out by their new pricing structure of six tickets for $100.

"Half of the proceeds always are now being allocated to CEE hospital in Petrolia," said Alexander. "They're working on a significant redevelopment project, so their portion of the proceeds are going towards that. With respect to the Bluewater Health Foundation's Sarnia portion, we are currently raising money for the new core lab at Bluewater Health."

The home was built by Iacobelli Construction and designed by Designs by Leena.

Alexander said open houses are planned from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, until March 6.

"There are some regulations in place that guests and visitors need to adhere to when they come to the home on the weekends, but we do invite people to come out over the next two weeks to tour the beautiful home," she said. "Frank Iacobelli built us, yet again, another remarkable and stunning home. We want people in the community to see just how many local businesses and partners have come together to build this year's Dream Home Lottery home."

You can buy tickets online at www.bwhfdreamhome.com, or by calling 1-844-667-3251 until Tuesday, March 9 at 11:59 p.m.

There are also several cash prizes, and the chance to win a brand new BMW.

The 50/50 draw has more than doubled from last year, and is currently sitting at around $200,000.

The winners will be selected during a draw on March 24 at 8 a.m.
